As a Project Controls Analyst, you will be focused on project tracking, forecasting, performance monitoring, variance analysis, and corrective actions. This role will provide support to project managers and teams across a portfolio of projects. Reporting to the Project Control Manager the individual will work closely with Procurement, Accounting and Finance teams. A Day In The Life:Prepare project financial reports adhering to project controls best practicesEnsure accuracy of cost allocations and monitor purchase orders for cost codingReview subcontractor invoices for accuracyCollaborate with project managers and engineers to establish project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.Track project actuals & EAC against baseline budgetsMonitor progress against milestones and identify potential issues and risksProvide regular status report updates to project managers and stakeholders on project progress, including budget and scheduleMaintain organized project documentationReview project and estimate cash flows, contract terms, and change orders in detail for financial impact and opportunitiesEffectively utilize the right data, reports, and tools for analysis and benchmarkingYou Will Thrive In This Role If You Have:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills2- 5 years of experience in cost controls or financial analysis.Advanced skills in Microsoft ExcelAbility to multi task and balance responsibilities in a dynamic environmentHigh level of professionalismExperience in construction, oil & gas, or engineering industry preferredCompensation RangeCompensation will be paid in the range of $45 - $50/hr.
