Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance Technician

A well-established manufacturing company with decades of experience in electrical assemblies and wire processing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance Technician to join its production team. This organization specializes in high-quality electrical wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, wire processing, and box build solutions for OEM customers across the United States. The company operates in a quality-driven manufacturing environment and maintains ISO-certified standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment to maximize operational efficiency

• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain maintenance schedules

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions

• Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives

• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve manufacturing operations

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and quality standards

• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair experience

• Hands-on experience with preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment

• Understanding of manufacturing tools, equipment, and production processes

• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills

• Experience working in ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality-controlled environments preferred

• Familiarity with maintenance tracking or scheduling software

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• High school diploma or GED required

• Associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred

• Experience in electrical wiring, cable assembly, or related manufacturing industries is a plus
