Travel Rad Tech Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rad Tech for a 13‑week travel assignment in Lewiston, Idaho. Qualifications 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred: Current ARRT Certification Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position Responsibilities Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions as they arise. Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images according to physician orders. Maintain equipment and sterilize the room in which the procedure takes place. Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the health‑care team. Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions as needed. Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records. Follow hospital safety rules and procedures, including infection control and radiation safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions. Proficiency in PC skills. Physical: remain stationary, move about, and move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal: work effectively with a variety of personnel, maintain a positive attitude and professionalism. Technical/Motor: grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and using department equipment. Mental: cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally, and manage irregular activity schedules with continuous concentration to detail.
