CNC Programmer

CNC ProgrammerWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team in the Nashville area. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to produce high-quality precision parts efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with machinists, engineers, and production teams.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, modify, and optimize CNC programs for mills and/or lathes using CAD/CAM softwareInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specificationsSelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining strategiesSupport CNC machine setup and prove-out of new programsTroubleshoot machining issues and improve cycle times and part qualityCollaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project timelinesMaintain documentation for programs, processes, and revisionsEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and company standardsQualifications3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency with CNC mills and/or lathes (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis preferred)Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM, or similar)Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, feeds, speeds, and materialsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&TExperience working with tight tolerances and precision componentsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in high-mix, low-volume or production environmentsKnowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practicesFamiliarity with ERP/MRP systemsAssociate degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing (or equivalent experience)What We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceBenefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)Paid time off and holidaysStable work environment with modern equipmentOpportunities for growth and advancementScheduleFull-timeDay shift (overtime as needed)Contact View email address on click.appcast.io or call View phone number on click.appcast.io
