Compound Laboratory Lab Supervisor

Yoh presents an excellent long-term Compound Laboratory Lab Supervisor opportunity with a trusted, long-term client located in Cambridge, MA.This position is part of a major pharmaceutical company, and requires a Bachelors of Science in chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field. Schedule is full-time M-F (7am-8am start time, 8 hour shift) and may require flexibility to work some evenings and overtime due to projects.Key Responsibilities:Operations Management and Team LeadershipSupervise and coordinate the daily operations of the compound library laboratory as described in the scope of workCoordinate training for laboratory staff on SOPs, systems, and safety protocolsFoster a collaborative, high-performance team cultureCompliance & DocumentationImplement, maintain, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)Ensure proper documentation and data integrity across all compound library activitiesPrepare regular reports on operations, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs)Stakeholder EngagementCoordinate with internal stakeholders and research teams to understand and fulfill compound library needsServe as the primary escalation point for operational issuesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field (Master's degree preferred)Minimum 5+ years of experience in laboratory operations or compound libraryMinimum 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experienceStrong knowledge of sample management principles and best practicesExperience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS)Experience with liquid handling equipment (Echo Acoustic Liquid Handler)Proficiency in inventory management and tracking systemsExcellent organizational and project management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and make sound operational decisionsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and laboratory software applicationsExperience in a pharmaceutical or biotech research environmentKnowledge of drug discovery processes and compound library workflowsExperience with automated compound storage systemsFamiliarity Cenevo MOSAIC softwareDOT and IATA trainedEstimated Min Rate: $35.00Estimated Max Rate: $41.00What’s In It for You?We welcome you to be a part of the largest and legendary global staffing companies to meet your career aspirations.
