MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED Six (6) months experience preferred; Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation. Summary

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and waxes Dusts and polishes furniture; cleans offices. Washes windows, walls, and Cleans, sanitizes, and deodorizes restrooms; replaces soap and paper Unclogs Empties and cleans waste receptacles and Disposes of trash Vacuums and shampoos Strips, waxes, and buffs Cleans vents and light Assists in moving office Maintains equipment and custodial supplies and replenishes as Cuts weeds, rakes leaves, and removes litter from Maintains entrances, steps, walkways, and parking lots. Cleans snow and ice from parking lots, walkways, entrances, and steps. Trims and prunes trees and bushes at ten feet and Irrigates lawns using sprinklers, hoses, and flooding Performs minor maintenance and Sets up tables and chairs in various meeting rooms as Adjusts heating, lighting, sound systems, and water valves in buildings as Attends and participates in meetings and planning Informs supervisor of any defects or repairs needed in buildings or on Observes safety rules and maintains a safe Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as Performs other duties as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hand to finger handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk to hear. The employee occasionally is required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Able to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIROMENT:

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Exposure to fumes or airborne particles may occur, and the incumbent is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. Evening, weekend, and or holiday work is rarely required. Travel, though rare, may be required for training, meetings, conferences, presentations and other events.
