Telemetry Technician

Role Overview The monitor technician is responsible for surveillance of monitored and telemetry patients, detecting rhythm changes, and reporting potentially lethal rhythms to a Registered Nurse following established protocols. Key Responsibilities Monitor patient cardiac rhythms and identify abnormalities Report significant rhythm changes promptly to nursing staff Maintain vigilant surveillance to ensure patient safety Follow workflow and safety procedures accurately Qualifications & Skills Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association Preferred: At least 1 year of experience as a monitor tech Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize critical cardiac rhythms Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration Key Attributes Commitment to patient safety and quality care Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Adherence to safety protocols and procedures #J-18808-Ljbffr
