Brattleboro, Vermont - Orthopedic SurgeonStatus: Full-Time (40 hours/week) with Rotating CallAvailability:Full-timeRotating callPosition Summary:The Orthopedic Surgeon provides comprehensive care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including surgical and non-surgical management. The role involves diagnosis, treatment planning, performing surgeries, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose orthopedic conditions via physical exams, medical history, and imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT).Develop individualized treatment plans (surgical and non-surgical).Perform orthopedic surgeries (joint replacements, fracture repairs, arthroscopy, etc.).Collaborate with primary care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation specialists.Provide pre- and post-operative care.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Stay current on evidence-based practices and advancements in orthopedic surgery.Participate in professional development and continuing education.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.Adhere to ethical and professional standards.Qualifications & Requirements:Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolResidency: Completed orthopedic surgery residency programBoard Certification: Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic SurgeryLicensure:Valid Vermont medical licenseValid Vermont DEA licenseCertifications: CPR for Healthcare ProvidersProficiency in modern orthopedic surgical techniquesStrong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skillsCommitment to patient safety and professional developmentCompensation:$300,000 - $360,000 annuallyFinal compensation based on experience, education, and market competitivenessRecruitWell Note:Allow RecruitWell to connect you with the client to discuss this opportunity in detail.
