Summary The Maintenance Clerk administers the accurate tracking and management of maintenance, operations, and engineering management systems. This position will be actively involved in day-to-day operations supporting Maintenance Management using JD Edwards CMMS software and other computer-based systems. Search for, identify, and order parts needed for repairs. Accurately enter information into various systems in a timely manner. Ability to work rotating shifts, straight shifts (nights or days) and weekends as business needs require. Essential Job Functions: Include but are not limited to the following: (Management reserves the right to add or modify the duties and responsibilities at any time.) Opens and Closes Work Orders Inputs the craftsmen's labor hours. Prints W/O's and pick tickets. Orders non-inventory parts and tracks non-inventory items. Coordinates Oil Sampling Manages Asset Management Systems – E1, Safety information systems, Asset Tracking, Inventory Management, Overtime Equity, Vacation Scheduling, Time Entry Communicates Operations Needs with Maintenance Foremen and Managers Prepare Daily Activity Reports Performs other duties as assigned by Maintenance Foremen and General Foremen Requires working in an underground environment. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or its equivalent. Computer proficiency Microsoft Office word, excel and CMMS systems Maintenance experience in industrial or mining setting is preferred Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
