Mobile Brake Technician – $1,000–$1,300+ Weekly + Tips

Brake Club USA – Houston, TX

Brake Club USA is growing and looking for an experienced Mobile Brake Technician to join our Houston team.

This is not an entry-level position . We are looking for an automotive technician who already has strong hands-on brake repair experience, can diagnose braking concerns, and is comfortable working independently at customers’ homes and businesses.

• $1,000–$1,300+ per week earning potential

What You'll Do

As a Brake Club USA Mobile Brake Technician, you will travel to scheduled customer locations throughout the Houston area and perform professional brake inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.

Responsibilities include:

• Replace brake pads
• Replace brake rotors
• Replace brake calipers
• Replace electronic brake wear sensors
• Perform brake fluid flushes
• Bleed hydraulic brake systems
• Service drum brake systems
• Inspect complete braking systems
• Diagnose brake noises and squealing
• Diagnose vibration and pulsation
• Diagnose uneven brake wear
• Identify additional brake-related safety concerns
• Properly bed-in new brake components when required
• Test and verify repairs before completing each job
• Take before-and-after photos of repairs
• Complete digital work orders using a smartphone
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Maintain company equipment and service vehicle
• Follow Brake Club USA repair procedures and quality standards

Required Experience

Applicants should have professional automotive repair experience with a strong emphasis on brake systems.

You must be comfortable servicing a variety of vehicles, including:

• Toyota

• Ford

• Dodge
• Jeep
• Lexus
• BMW
• Mercedes-Benz
• Trucks
• SUVs
• European and luxury vehicles

Qualifications

• Professional automotive/brake repair experience required
• Several years of hands-on brake repair experience preferred
• ASE A5 Brakes Certification strongly preferred
• Verifiable automotive employment history
• Strong knowledge of disc and drum brake systems
• Experience with pads, rotors, calipers, sensors, brake bleeding, and brake fluid flushes
• Ability to properly diagnose brake noise, vibration, and wear concerns
• Must own professional automotive hand tools and power tools
• Valid driver's license required
• Acceptable driving record required
• Smartphone required
• Comfortable using mobile apps, digital work orders, and uploading photos
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to work independently without constant supervision
• Able to follow established company processes and procedures
• Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude
• Willing to complete employment verification, certification verification, background screening, and driving-record screening
