About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care BMT/Hematology experience preferred; willing to consider candidates with 1.5 years of experience. License: Current RN License required (CO or Compact) Certifications: AHA BLS, ONS/ONCC Chemo Certification, Oncology Certification preferred Must-Have: Experience with chemotherapy administration is required. Description: We are seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our Bone Marrow Transplant team. This unit cares for patients with blood cancers receiving chemotherapy, biotherapies, and cellular therapies. Candidates must have experience with acute tumor lysis syndrome, administration of chemotherapy, and care for patients undergoing stem cell transplants. The nurse-to-patient ratio may flex based on staffing and unit needs. Candidates must be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios. Floating between similar units may be required. Weekend shifts will be based on unit needs. Additional responsibilities include monitoring chemotherapy and managing complications such as nausea, vomiting, and graft-versus-host disease. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to recognize and communicate abnormal lab values. Prior experience in inpatient oncology is highly preferred.
