Dimensional Inspection & Quality Control Coordinator

If verifying, analyzing, and improving product quality sounds like your kind of challenge, this role puts you at the center of inspection and compliance—from receiving to final shipment. What You’ll Do First-piece & in-process inspections: Confirm part correctness using dimensional and visual methods per standard procedures. Tooling alignment: Work with cross-functional teams to drive tool corrections and adjustments until specifications are met. Nonconformance control: Quarantine, disposition, and manage MRB tracking and release. Receiving support: Apply precision instruments during incoming inspections; sign off fittings and verify/track steel certifications. Process checks: Conduct in-process verification for GDI and fitting operations. Equipment verification: Perform red-rabbit checks on inspection machinery as needed. Data & reporting: Compile scrap data, Jomesa test results, MRB status, and End-Of-Shift reports; create Pareto charts. Communication cadence: Issue daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports. Audits: Execute IATF, floor, internal, LPA, and dock audits; document and report outcomes. Training: Mentor new QA inspectors and train production operators on in-process inspection methods. Document control: Maintain plant documentation in Plex for IATF and ECR tracking (work instructions, procedures, forms, prints). Culture & standards: Practice and promote LEAP/5S and HSE standards; perform other duties as assigned. Bring These Skills Strong GD&T knowledge and print interpretation. Background in continuous improvement methods. Understanding of ISO 13485 expectations. Mastery of SOPs and disciplined execution. Ability to perform quality control data analysis. Tools of the Trade CMM platforms: Zeiss and Hexagon, with Calypso programming/operation. Calipers and micrometers for precision measurement.
