Testing Lead

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a Testing Lead in Houston, TX.Key Responsibilities:* Testing Lead will develop and implement enterprise-wide testing strategies, frameworks, standards, and best practices* Lead the evolution of quality assurance toward automation-first and AI-driven testing approaches* Establish consistency across testing processes, methodologies, and quality metrics* Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle* Manage and mentor QA team members while supporting professional development and technical growth* Influence and guide testing resources across a matrixed and distributed team environment* As a Testing Lead, you will evaluate new testing technologies, automation platforms, and vendor solutions* Drive accountability through quality metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives* Support delivery execution while maintaining a long-term vision for quality engineering transformation* Strengthen collaboration across geographically distributed teams and product groupsRequirements* Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience* 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Testing Leadership, or related disciplines* Experience leading QA teams and managing testing initiatives across multiple projects or product lines* Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or similar software development environments* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test strategy development, and quality processes* Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills* Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive organizational change* Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on executionPreferred Qualifications:* Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks* Experience with AI-enabled testing tools and emerging quality engineering technologies* Experience managing vendor relationships and outsourced testing resources* Experience leading testing organizations through modernization initiatives* Background in software engineering, automation engineering, or application development* Familiarity with mobile application testing across iOS and Android platformsJob TypeContractCompensation55 - $72
