Ruby Developer

Overview Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Ruby Developer to support a major national laboratory. Responsibilities The successful candidate will work with a team developing and/or maintaining web-based applications using tools such as Ruby on Rails or Java. You will analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities Translate detailed design into application systems Test, debug, and refine applications to produce the required product Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation Enhance applications to improve performance and add functionality; and provide technical direction to engineers to ensure program deadlines are met. Qualifications BS/BA and 5years of experience in Linux environments, relational database, experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
