About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Westwood, New Jersey, 07675!
Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in ICU License: State or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratio management Description: The ICU Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill patients. Candidates should have a minimum of 1.5 years of ICU experience. Experience with charting in any system is required. Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias are essential skills. Candidates must be skilled in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Experience with arterial line management and central line care is necessary. Ability to perform continuous IV sedation and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips is expected. Management of patients on BiPAP/CPAP and ventilated patients is required. Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and suctioning skills are essential. Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols is needed. About Cynet Health
