Machine Operator

Are you mechanically skilled with aspirations of being a machine operator one day? We are looking for Machine Operator for a food manufacturing company. All shifts available and pay rate is based on experienced. You will perform set ups, make minor adjustments and operate packaging eqipment. salary: $20.3 - $22.25 per hour

work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate set ups on equipment in preparation for particular product runs.
• Operates equipment and adjusts as necessary to ensure equipment is operating correctly and meeting quality specifications.
• Inspects and tests packages, and documents results to ensure equipment is operating correctly and meeting quality specifications.
• Stages and checks required materials for quick and accurate change overs in production.
• Completes and assembles all required documentation associated with the position.
• Maintains works area in a clean and organized manner.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
