Assistant Vice President Of Software DevelopmentAxos Bank has an exciting leadership opportunity, seeking an Assistant Vice President of Software Development! As our Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing projects to enhance and improve our digital banking platform, in line with our product roadmap and delivery schedule. This is a hands-on role where the ideal candidate will have an architect's mindset, and will be responsible for a portfolio of applications across the enterprise.ResponsibilitiesWork with IT leadership to define and architect functional and non-functional requirements across the enterprise portfolioDesign and prototype enterprise-wide solutions with a focus on security, performance, continuous integration and code quality (unit and integration tests)Communicate and collaborate with other development managersIdentify and implement opportunities to continuously improve the Bank's development capabilitiesRefactor codebase to realize just-in-time design within the contextual designWork closely and communicate proactively and effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationRequirementsBachelor's degree7+ years' of full-stack .NET development; designing interactive web applications, developing web services (REST/SOAP), and integrating with vendor APIs4+ years' as a technical lead and/or managerHands-on experience with API development, integration patterns, and service communicationsUse of source control tools like Azure DevOps, TFS, Git, etc.Unit test creation using xUnit, MOQ etc.Financial services and/or commercial banking industry experienceExceptional work ethic, comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and the ability to independently manage a workload with multiple prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technicalProficiency with the following technologies:.NET framework, C#, SQL Server, SSIS, ETL, JavaScript, MVC, Angular, TypeScript, jQuery, RabbitMQStrong understanding of Agile methodology/conceptsPreferred:Experience working with geographically dispersed teamsExperience with lending platforms and solutionsAxos Employee Benefits May Include:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsurancePaid Sick Leave, 3 weeks' Vacation, and Holidays (about 11 a year)HSA or FSA account and other voluntary benefits401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with Employer Match Program and 529 Savings PlanEmployee Mortgage Loan Program and free access to an Axos Bank Account with Self-Directed TradingAbout AxosBorn digital-first, Axos delivers financial tools and services that allow individuals, small businesses, and companies to access and manage their money how, when, and where they want.
