Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care
• Develop appropriate plan of care following regulatory and clinical standards
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
• Administer manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team regarding patient progress and treatment plans
• Provide comprehensive discharge summary of services provided
• Accurately document all regulatory and clinical information in electronic system
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and in-services
• Supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students
• Adhere to APTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
• New graduates considered with Level II clinical experience
• Long Term Care or Rehab experience required
• Active Oklahoma State Physical Therapy License
• Wound care experience preferred
