Roles & Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care
- Develop appropriate plan of care following regulatory and clinical standards
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
- Administer manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team regarding patient progress and treatment plans
- Provide comprehensive discharge summary of services provided
- Accurately document all regulatory and clinical information in electronic system
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and in-services
- Supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students
- Adhere to APTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
- New graduates considered with Level II clinical experience
- Long Term Care or Rehab experience required
- Active Oklahoma State Physical Therapy License
- Wound care experience preferred
