Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License required
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Experience caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• No first assignments
• Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved application for medical or religious exception required prior to contract start date

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1830 to 0700
• Three 12-hour shifts weekly
• 15-week assignment
• Responsibilities include continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support, physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care
• Equipment includes computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 Ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent
