Senior Helpers of Lexington has immediate job openings in the Chapin area. We are looking for both CNAs or experienced caregivers. If you have ever taken care of a loved one at the end of life or a sick aunt or uncle, we take your experience and develop it to match our needs and state regulations.

So, what will you do as a caregiver?

We employ professional caregivers – we do not employ “sitters”; you will be expected to become part of your client’s lives by offering them opportunities for happiness such as:

Caring companionship and conversation, assisting with ADLs (when needed); our clients have the best wisdom to offer and we encourage you to connect with them to improve their quality of life

• Transportation (errands, appointments, standing hair times)
• Medication reminders
• Laundry and linens, light housekeeping
• What would you do for your mother if she were sick? We want you to ask this question to yourself daily!!

What is absolutely necessary to have to become a caregiver?

• Reliable transportation – MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL 5-25 MILES FROM CLIENT'S HOME– NO long distance commutes)
• Proof of car insurance
• References (1 professional, 1 personal)
