We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team on Mondays and Wednesdays 8am - 5pm. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care by performing thorough dental cleanings, assessments, and education while supporting the overall health and well-being of our patients. Your expertise in dental hygiene, combined with your compassionate approach, will ensure a positive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Conduct patient assessments by taking medical histories, documenting findings accurately, and schedule recare appointments in Dentrix.
• Ensure infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are strictly followed.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.
• Take recommended X-rays while maintaining radiation safety measures.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Skills

• Proficiency in dental software applications in Dentrix for documentation, x rays, personal payments and appointment scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques.
• Skilled in taking dental imaging and assessing overall patient health status.
