A travel pharmacist opportunity is available to support a 120-bed community hospital in Kerrville, TX. This role requires a pharmacist with strong clinical skills, ideally with decentralized ICU experience, to enhance patient care in a hospital setting. The hospital uses Meditech for electronic health records, MedKeeper for IV management, and Omnicell for medication dispensing, so familiarity with these systems is beneficial.

Job Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks or longer
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday day shifts starting at 7 am, 8 am, or 9 am
• Coverage every 4th weekend
• Potential to transition to second shift (11:45 am - 10:15 pm, 10-hour shifts)
• Ideal candidate will be flexible with scheduling

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Texas pharmacist license
• Strong hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in a clinical setting
• Decentralized ICU pharmacy experience highly preferred
• Experience with Meditech, MedKeeper, and Omnicell systems is advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in a hospital environment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy for patients
• Manage IV preparations and medication dispensing using appropriate technologies
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled
