Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Location: Chattanooga, TN and surrounding counties. This position offers entry‑level experience supporting people with disabilities. DSPs are mentors, advocates, and supporters who help ensure that the person's needs and wishes are met, helping them increase independence, learn new skills, and remain active members of their community. Assist with cooking, cleaning, and activities of daily living. Provide transportation to appointments and job interviews. Administer medications and monitor for signs or symptoms of illness. Help the person apply for jobs and attend interviews. Have meaningful conversations and teach self‑advocacy skills. Support learning new skills and other duties tailored to individual needs. Applicants must be 18+ years old, pass all background checks, and demonstrate a willingness and ability to provide optimal individualized supports. House Manager Location: Chattanooga, TN and surrounding counties. House Managers oversee the day‑to‑day management of staff in Special Living and Community Living Support, and provide direct support duties. They lead by example, manage a small team of DSPs, and ensure services meet the needs and preferences of the individuals they support. Ensure quality of documentation and coordinate appointments and activities. Create and coordinate staff schedules. Manage household items and safeguard individuals' personal funds. Facilitate communication between consumer‑owned services (COS) members. Perform direct support duties as needed. Uphold individual needs and wishes for each person supported.
