Department OverviewThe Software Practice Office delivers deployable software solutions to field teams and can be the driving force of specific technical solution deployments. Making our systems and solutions hybrid ready is a key component of the practice office.Job Description

The candidate should have existing Software System deployment experience with proficiency in the following areas:

• Hypervisor and Virtualization platform knowledge and use: VMWare ESXI and RedHat OpenShift, including Virtual Machines

• Windows Server 2022 or newer

• SQL Server 2022 or newer

• Must have solid networking knowledge and experience setting up firewalls (Fortinet) and load balancers (F5).

• Must have networking and trouble shooting skills to test connections and identify issue and resolution.

• Must have Cloud Deployment knowledge and experiece (DEVOPS) and deployment of cloud services (SaaS solutions) and on-prem system environments. Hybrid system experience is preferred.

• Must be a self motivated team player

• Must have excellent communication skills

• The position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy".

• Candidates must be able to successfully pass a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions' customers.

Preferred Skills:

• Great verbal and written commuication is preferred.

• The ability to present and train others on technical processes as the position requires.

• Public Safety experience is preferred.

• Must have experience working as a Systems Engineer, Systems Designer, Systems Developer, Systems Integration Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Tester is preferred.

Target Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements

Required Skills:

• High School diploma, or Associates, or Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Architecture, or Networking.

• 10+ years of professional experience including Product Deployment and Integration, Product Testing, or Poduct Development.

• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a Security Clearance as required by our government customers.
