The Dallas Arboretum is looking for an energetic, people‑first Lead, Guest Experience Ticket Booth professional to bring our guest experience to life. What We’re Looking For A natural leader with a passion for customer service Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay calm, professional, and solution‑focused in high‑traffic environments Flexible, adaptable, and ready to jump in wherever needed Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or retail leadership preferred Why You’ll Love Working Here Work in a beautiful, garden setting every day Be part of a mission‑driven organization that brings joy to thousands of guests Join a supportive, team‑oriented culture Opportunity to grow your leadership skills Essential Duties Lead & Inspire Guide, coach, and support team members in daily operations Foster a positive, high‑energy, and collaborative team environment Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences Greet and assist guests with warmth and professionalism (in person and over the phone) Help guests book tickets and navigate their visit with ease Answer questions about the garden, events, and offerings Be the Go‑To Problem Solver Serve as the first point of contact for resolving guest concerns with empathy and professionalism De‑escalate situations and turn challenges into positive experiences Support Efficient Operations Ensure team adherence to Dallas Arboretum policies and service standards Assist with basic cash handling and ticketing processes Step in wherever needed across Guest Experience department to keep things running smoothly Requirements High school graduate or G.E.D. Customer service experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer experience required (Microsoft Office products). Physical ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods indoors and outdoors regardless of weather conditions. Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and seasonal evening hours. Ability to pass all pre‑employment requirements including a background check and drug test.
