Jefferson Radiology is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to support our growing practice at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. The position is 90% Interventional Radiology and 10% Diagnostic Radiology, on site Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with a favorable call schedule. Position Summary As part of a 90+ physician sub‑specialty group practice with over 400 non‑physician staff, you will provide high‑quality care across multiple imaging centers, community hospitals and tertiary‑academic centers. The role offers research, teaching opportunities, a 1‑year partnership track, and a generous PTO and compensation package. Desired Professional Skills and Experience High‑end IR skill set—experience in angiography, embolization, arterial and venous therapeutic procedures, surgical‑type procedures, GI and GU interventions, ablation, PICC lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, superficial and deep biopsies, lumbar puncture, myelograms, arthrograms, abscess drainage. MD or DO with 3+ years of attending experience. Level 1 trauma coverage preferred. Vein Center experience preferred, but not required. Graduate of an ACGME accredited radiology residency program. ABR or ABOR board‑certified/board‑eligible; ACLS required. Connecticut medical license required. Qualifications Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic and/or Interventional Radiology, solid clinical experience, and a commitment to patient‑centered care are essential.
