General Summary of Position :

\n

Responsible for organizing and managing client relationships and deliverables, including the completion of assignments, tasks, and project components as well as coaching, advising, and directing team members in meeting client and self-development expectations.

\n

\n

Essential Job Responsibilities :

\n

• Serve as the primary relationship manager between our constituents and the family office (M + N Advisory Services)

\n

• Supervise and review bookkeepers on accounts managed

\n

• Review annual tax returns

\n

• Review payroll tax filings

\n

• Income Tax compliance management for individuals, trusts, foundations, and estates, including gathering relevant information, reviewing returns, preparing projections, ensuring timely filing of estimated tax payments, and responding to notices from taxing authorities.

\n

• Review invoices and authorize payments

\n

• Review quarterly/monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations prepared by bookkeepers

\n

• Work with family investment managers, attorneys, insurance representatives, trustees, etc., as needed

\n

• Administer various trusts and private foundations

\n

• Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects for various family members’ issues as needed

\n

• Occasional travel as needed.

\n

\n

Education and Experience:

\n

• Bachelor of Science Degree.

\n

• Minimum of 5 years related experience in accounting firm or family office.

\n

\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

• Proficient with tax preparation, tax planning, Microsoft office.

\n

• 4 year Accounting Degree.

\n

• CFP®, CPA, EA, or JD preferred.

\n

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

\n

• High ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality.

\n

• Ability to organize, work effectively, meet deadlines, and multitask.

\n

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, specifically – Outlook, Word, Excel
