Cleanroom Technician As a Cleanroom Technician, you perform all functions of tube bending in a controlled cleanroom environment while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. You work with Teflon tube bending, basic wiring, and cable assembly, following work instructions and engineering drawings to build and label components accurately. You identify issues that affect product quality or on-time delivery, follow test procedures, and document test data to support high-tech manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Perform Teflon tube bending, basic wiring, and cable assembly in a cleanroom environment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions, and build assemblies according to specifications and label requirements. Follow established test procedures and accurately document test data to ensure traceability and compliance with internal and external standards. Inspect assemblies and components to verify conformance to quality requirements and identify issues that may affect product quality or on-time delivery. Work effectively as part of a tight-knit, competent team, collaborating with colleagues from other departments when needed. Accept responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks and outcomes, ensuring work is completed accurately and on schedule. Balance the needs of the organization and the customer when making decisions and prioritizing tasks. Essential Skills Experience working in a cleanroom environment, following strict gowning and cleanliness procedures. Proficiency with hand tools used for assembly, tube bending, and related manufacturing tasks. Ability to perform tube bending, including Teflon tube bending, with attention to precision and quality. Capability to carry out basic wiring and cable assembly according to engineering drawings and work instructions. Strong ability to read and build to engineering drawings and label to print accurately. Skill in assembly and inspection of components to ensure conformance to quality standards. Ability to follow detailed work instructions and test procedures and to document test data clearly and accurately. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks without constant supervision. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a production environment. Physical ability to stand for the duration of the shift and lift and carry up to 35 pounds. Work Environment You work in a positive pressure, HEPA-filtered cleanroom that adheres to International Standards Organization (ISO) certification requirements. The role requires conformance to all gowning procedures and maintaining a professional image in accordance with company appearance standards. The manufacturing area may involve some noise and plastic chips, and safety glasses are recommended outside designated safety corridors, with hearing protection recommended near machinery. You follow all company safety practices and procedures while standing at a workstation for the designated shift and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $37.00/hr.
