Accountant

Summary:
Upper Great Lakes Family Health (UGLFH) is seeking an Accountant (or Senior Accountant depending on experience) to support the Finance Team.



Responsibilities

• Perform regular account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare audit work papers, financial statements and reports, and fixed asset schedules.
• Reviews and analyzes general ledger and financial statements for accuracy.
• Facilitate payroll and tax accounting and reporting, including not not limited to remittance of tax deposits and quarterly/annual Form 941 payments.
• Assists Controller and CFO with financial support activities, including but not limited to annual UDS reporting, year-end audit, budgets, and cost reports.

Job Qualifications:

• Possesses the equivalent of formal training in accounting or business administration, generally obtained in the form of a bachelor's degree.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements, as well as experience processing payroll.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial and payroll information.
