Description

In this role, the Surgical Tech will assist in surgical procedures, ensuring the operating room is set up and maintained. Responsibilities include preparing instruments, maintaining sterile environments, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. This position offers a dynamic work environment in a Level I Trauma Center, providing exposure to various surgical specialties. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in Ortho, Neuro, and robotic surgery.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with two years of previous scrub experience
• Basic Life Support certification
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or completion of a Surgical Technology program
• Minimum of 2 years experience in OR with strong Ortho, Neuro, trauma, and robotic experience
• Experience with DaVinci robotic systems and EPIC charting system
• Completion of a Registered Nurse program or summer surgical tech extern program
