Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients. This role may involve floating to various units as necessary while ensuring the delivery of compassionate and effective nursing care. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to assigned patients in the Medical/Surgical telemetry unit. Utilize telemetry monitoring and interpret ECG rhythms. Respond to emergencies and assist in critical care situations, including the management of patients on ventilators. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Float to various units, such as J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department, to meet operational needs. Complete all required assessments and documentation accurately and timely. Shifts Night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Day shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Rotating shifts may be required based on operational needs. Qualifications Must possess at least 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for. A current Ohio RN license or Compact State license is required. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS from AHA or American Red Cross are mandatory. Must work at least every other holiday as part of the commitment. Successful completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation is essential.
