Registered Nurse (RN) PACU Per Diem

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) PACU Per Diem Location: RWJ Rahway, 865 Stone Street, Rahway, NJ 07065 Department: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Pay Range: $48.29 – $65.06 per hour Essential Functions The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and administers individualized age‑specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and mission of the nursing department. Practices in accordance with applicable regulations and participates in patient teaching, discharge planning, and unit performance improvement activities. Qualifications An active NJ RN license or Multistate RN license with NJ endorsement is required. An Associate’s degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred. BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required. Current American Heart Association ACLS/PALS certification is required. Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required. Minimum one (1) year of critical‑care experience is required; PACU experience is preferred.
