Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Resort Entry Screening in Marco Island, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier resort location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols while remaining visible to help discourage incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service, support security-related operations, and build strong communication skills in a people-first culture grounded in teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a resort-style location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or guest authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around lobbies, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Assist with visitor management, delivery coordination, and traffic flow at gates and access points while following post orders and reporting unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
