What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience as a first assist in general surgery, demonstrating confidence in the operating room
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to round, assist in surgeries, prep discharges, and coordinate care effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate seamlessly with surgical teams and patients
• Active medical license (or IMLC) and DEA registration
• Board certification in your respective profession (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)
• Ability to commit to full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Additional Skills That Shine:

• Previous experience in inpatient surgical settings
• Bilingual abilities or additional certifications that enhance patient care
• Adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Prior experience assisting in general surgery, particularly in inpatient or OR environments
• Valid, current licensure and certification aligned with state and federal regulations

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work full-time hours at Prov St. Mary
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities required for this role
• Reliable access to technology for credentialing and documentation
• Willing to adhere to all institutional policies and safety protocols
