PHYSICAL THERAPIST - TMC BONHAM (PRN)

Responsibilities TMC Bonham Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital that includes both primary care and specialty physicians. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services along with 24-hour emergency services. The Critical Access Hospital Program was established to assure access to healthcare services for rural residents and provides rural acute care hospitals with opportunities to enhance services and improve quality of care. We are committed to improving the quality of care we deliver every day. TMC Bonham is managed by Texoma Medical Center, a subsidiary of UHS. The Physical Therapist provides evaluation and treatment of patients referred by medical staff; provides clinical expertise to the multidisciplinary therapy staff, and serves as a resource for the physical therapy staff for clinical guidance, practice and ethics. Provides supervision for PT/PTA student education programs. Qualifications Minimum education per licensure requirement. Licensed by the State of Texas. BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting. Must be able to commute between facilities in a timely manner. Strong knowledge of advanced therapy skills and competencies. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal relationship skills. Basic computer skills.
