Scheduled Hours Contract Length: 16 weeks Scheduled Hours Per Week: 40 Start Date: Not Provided End Date: Not Provided Job Description We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room to join the Northside Hospital Forsyth Outpatient Surgery Center in Cumming, Georgia. The RN will provide safe, individualized perioperative nursing care and support surgical teams across a variety of procedures. Candidates should have strong recent Operating Room experience and be comfortable working with multiple surgical specialties, including robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, gynecology, and prostate biopsy procedures. Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical process. Assist with patient preparation and positioning according to procedure requirements. Support surgical teams during procedures while maintaining patient safety and sterile technique. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other members of the healthcare team. Provide appropriate nursing care for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. Follow infection control, patient safety, and perioperative standards. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Demonstrate competency across assigned surgical specialties and procedures. Surgical Specialties Travelers should have experience across a variety of cases, including: Robotics Neurosurgery Orthopedics Plastics Gynecology Prostate biopsy Strong experience in GYN, plastics, and prostate biopsy procedures is particularly relevant.
