Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Watch in Monroe, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to support daily operations with strong customer service, clear communication, and a teamwork-focused approach rooted in integrity, reliability, and innovation. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.47 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols throughout the location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to Allied Universal and site guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and document security-related events, observations, and incidents in a clear and timely manner. Support emergency response activities, including alarms, evacuations, and/or facility disruptions, while coordinating with site contacts and public responders when appropriate. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
