RN Behavioral Health

Portsmouth Regional Hospital seeks an RN Behavioral Health nurse to provide safe, compassionate care on our inpatient psychiatric unit. The RN will complete behavioral health assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and closely monitor patient status. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, de-escalation, suicide risk assessment, and coordination with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers. The nurse supports group and individual interventions, educates patients and families, ensures regulatory and safety standards, and contributes to a collaborative, patient-first, and improvement-focused culture within our community-based hospital.
