Bartender PositionThe Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guest specifications, including beer, wine, and mixed drinks. This part-time seasonal role requires excellent guest service, recipe adherence, and compliance with responsible alcohol service standards. Bartenders are responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked work area to ensure efficient operations.Principal Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner and fulfill beverage orders accurately and efficiently.Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, portion standards, and guest requests.Verify guest identification and comply with all applicable alcohol service laws, ABC regulations, AMP alcohol service policies, and responsible beverage service practices.Monitor guest alcohol consumption and implement alcohol service cut-off procedures when necessary.Set up, maintain, and break down bar workstations, including cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing equipment and work areas.Receive, stock, and replenish inventory, supplies, garnishes, and product levels to support efficient operations.Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and fully stocked work environment throughout each shift.Provide exceptional guest service by anticipating guest needs and resolving routine service issues in a professional manner.Safeguard the security of company assetsMaintain positive and professional working relationships with guests, coworkers, vendors, and staff from other departments.Follow all safety, sanitation, security, and operational procedures.Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.RequirementsMinimum QualificationsThe work environment as well as the intellectual, social, and physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education, Training, TraitsMust be 21 years of age or olderHigh school diploma or GED requiredA wide range of drink knowledge and experience utilizing common well liquorsExperience with the Appetize point of sale system a plusFlexibility with hours including early mornings, nights, and weekends.Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced work environmentMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to work independently as well as with others to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesAbility to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully within ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standardsWork ExperienceA minimum of 1-year full-service bartending experience preferably in a high-volume environmentPhysicalMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearlyMust have a working cell phone and be willing to install basic applications and be willing to use it for work purposesMust be able to endure sitting or standing for extended periods of timeMust be able to endure standing or walking for extended periods of time on various surfaces such as concrete, grass, and inclined surfaces.Must be able to endure outdoor elements including cold, heat, wind, and/or precipitationMust be able to work in large, crowded environments, with flashing lights, loud music and noises, pyrotechnics, and cannons as part of shows and events
