Associate Patient Care Coordinator -Portland Metro Area Multiple clinics

Description The Associate Patient Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact, providing excellent customer service to patients or visitors in person or by phone, and acting as a liaison between patients and providers throughout the administrative flow of the patient experience. This role is ideal for early‑career individuals, learning core front‑ and back‑office duties and supporting routine healthcare services to ensure smooth clinic operations for Providence patients and families. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors in person and by phone. Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure a smooth patient experience. Perform front‑ and back‑office duties, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, updating demographic information and patient support. Maintain clinic efficiency through accurate documentation and adherence to workflows within the electronic medical record (EPIC). Demonstrate growth and proficiency in supporting Providence’s mission of compassionate, high‑quality care. Required Qualifications 6 months of customer service related experience. Preferred Qualifications 6 months of office experience, preferably in a medical office. 6 months of experience using an electronic medical record system.
