Forklift Driver Join Our Team in Union City, GA!
Location: Union City, GA Pay: $17/hour Schedule: Monday Friday | Full-time
Are you a safety-conscious forklift operator ready to be part of a dynamic warehouse team? We're looking for a dependable Forklift Driver to help keep our Union City, GA operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll be key in moving, loading, unloading, and staging products efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Your attention to detail and teamwork will directly contribute to the success of our fast-paced warehouse and you'll get the satisfaction of knowing you're an essential part of the operation!
Required Skills:
- Current forklift certification and a minimum of 2 years' experience operating forklifts
- Strong commitment to safety policies and procedures
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks confidently
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Excellent attention to detail for verifying inbound/outbound shipments
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in high-volume or food-grade warehouse environments
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed
- Familiarity with routine forklift inspections and basic maintenance
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Age 18 or older
Other Requirements:
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Comfortable working in non-temperature controlled settings
