Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring 2+ years cardiac experience and NC or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a 24-bed Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Cardiac specialty caring for generalized cardiac patients ranging from young adult to elderly
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Common diagnoses include chest pain, A-fib, CHF, and pre/post care for cardiac caths (groin & radial) and VATS
• Uses Life Pak, Zoll, Masimo, and Cerner equipment
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Associate's degree required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo equipment required

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care within a family-oriented unit
• Must start orientation on one of the designated 2026 start dates
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
