Las Vegas, NV, United States (On-site) Job Summary The primary responsibility of the Snack Bar Attendant is to accurately handle cash register transactions and ensure guests are greeted cheerfully and prepare food and beverages per guests’ request. Essential Job Functions Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and staff. Engage in friendly conversations with guests using the 10/5 Rule (10 feet – make eye contact and smile, 5 feet – greet and speak to guest). Accurately input all orders into the POS terminal. Accurately post all transactions on the POS terminal, giving correct change; account for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedures; maintain integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities. Make drinks to order in accordance with established recipes and time guidelines. Deliver product to customers in a timely manner. Maintain high levels of customer service at all times. Thank guests for their patronage. Maintain appropriate levels of stock items in area. Assist in maintaining display cases and pastry tray levels. Keep the designated working area clean and organized and assist in maintaining cleanliness of surrounding areas, including condiment areas, in accordance with established health and safety standards. Assist all co‑workers as needed; assist management in getting food product to customers. Assist in training new attendants and new management staff during their training period. Perform periodic cleaning tasks assigned by management. Attend mandatory meetings and training classes as assigned. Resolve guest complaints expeditiously and inform management of the complaints. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of previous cash handling experience. Must be able to work any day, any time, any shift. Effective communication in English, both verbal and written, in a professional manner. Present a neat and professional appearance. Attention to detail and accuracy. Interacts with customers, public, and co‑workers. Uses a computer and/or cash register. Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands Fast‑paced environment with multiple tasks and time constraints. Must be able to handle a heavy business volume and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems in a timely manner.
