American Furniture Rental (AFR) is looking a for an Assistant Operations Manager for our warehouse in SW Houston, Texas.Salary DOE $70,000- $72,000. per year. Must delegate work with respect and foster teamwork and AFR culture.RESPONSIBILITIES:Kitchen and Linen department oversightPick, prepare, and ship orders and transfersWork with and monitor residential and commercial delivery teamsOversee the picking of residential and commercial ordersQuality control inspections of completed orders dailyTraining with delivery teams and pickersHandle calls from delivery teams regarding residential and commercial ordersWork with Operations Managers to schedule and route trucksInspect and approve the Triaged furniture going into racks or out on ordersPerform other related duties as assigned.EDUCATION/TRAINING:Degree: Bachelor or EquivalentADDITIONAL SKILLS:Ability to lift up to 75 poundsVerbal/written communication skillsAccuracy and attention to detailPlanning, and time management skillsBusiness ethics and customer relation skillsPersonnel management and delegation skillsDiversity ensures the success of our careers, and our lives.
