This position is available in Troy, Michigan, Atlanta, Georgia or Dallas, Texas.Responsibilities:Act as a client-facing full stack engineer, partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutionsDesign, develop, and deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions using modern frameworks and best practicesContribute to system architecture and technical design decisions within distributed and tiered systemsMentor and support engineers across a global team, providing guidance through code reviews, collaboration, and knowledge sharingMaintain and promote coding standards and best practices, ensuring consistency and quality across deliverablesDebug and troubleshoot complex issues using a variety of tools and analytical approachesEnsure solutions are thoroughly tested, including unit and integration testingParticipate in client workshops, sprint demos, and technical discussions, clearly communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesIdentify opportunities to introduce AI driven capabilities, automation, and data insights into client solutionsSupport Agile delivery by contributing to planning, estimation, and continuous improvement effortsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)5 years of professional software development experienceProven ability to operate in a client-facing or consulting-style environmentExperience designing and developing Single Page Applications (React, Angular)Proficiency building REST APIs (.NET, Node) with a focus on performance, security, and maintainabilityStrong understanding of application architecture, APIs, and system design principlesExperience with relational databases, including schema design and SQL optimizationExposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern deployment practicesExperience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologiesUp to date and hands on experience with emerging AI trends (AI driven development/workflows) and technologies (Claude Code, Copilot, Codex)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze business requirements and propose solutionsExcellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and collaborate across global teamsDemonstrated ability to mentor peers and positively influence team deliveryDoeren Mayhew is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
