Shipping Associate/Forklift OperatorWe are seeking a dependable Shipping Associate to support a busy manufacturing shipping department. This is an immediate opening due to an unexpected resignation and offers the opportunity to become a permanent employee for the right candidate.The ideal candidate has experience loading and unloading trucks, operating industrial lift equipment, and using a box clamp attachment or similar material handling equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable Shipping Associate to support a busy manufacturing shipping department. This is an immediate opening due to an unexpected resignation and offers the opportunity to become a permanent employee for the right candidate.ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficientlyOperate material handling equipment, including equipment with a box clamp attachmentOperate gas and/or electric lift trucksMove, stage, and organize materials for shipping and receivingVerify shipments for accuracy and inspect products for damageFollow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practicesMaintain a clean and organized work areaAssist with other shipping and warehouse duties as neededQualificationsPrevious box clamp experience preferredExperience operating gas and/or electric lift trucks preferredPrior shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing experienceAbility to safely load and unload trailersStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safetyReliable attendance and a strong work ethicAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the dayWhy Apply?Potential for temp-to-hire based on performance and business needsGreat opportunity with a stable manufacturing company
