Little Steps 1, Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Rego Park, NY! Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and developmental needs to develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement evidence-based OT interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, speech therapists, and physical therapists
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education opportunities

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid New York State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
• Strong knowledge of sensory integration, ADLs, and rehabilitative therapy techniques
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
