Job Description
Job DescriptionOccupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity awaits Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) interested in making a positive impact on students in an elementary school setting. This full-time, onsite contract position is ideal for skilled professionals passionate about supporting young learners in their academic and personal development. You'll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00AM to 3:30PM, for the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active COTA license issued by the state of California
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and school staff
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as directed by an Occupational Therapist
- Assist with implementing therapy plans and support individualized education goals
- Observe, track, and document student progress and responses to interventions
- Provide hands-on support in classrooms, adapting activities to meet student needs
- Collaborate with educational teams to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as school policies
