BC-PMHNP Opportunity – 1099 Contract | 16 Hours/Week Residential Youth Facility – Wilmington, DE Quick Facts Setting: Residential treatment facility serving pre-adjudicated and adjudicated youth (ages 12–18) Schedule: 16 hours/week | Two Days a week Employment Type: 1099 Contractor Compensation: $90–$97/hour Position Summary The Columbus Organization is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a rewarding 1099 moonlighting opportunity in Wilminfton, Delaware. This role provides the unique chance to support youth within a secure residential environment by delivering high-quality psychiatric care, fostering emotional stability, and supporting their rehabilitation journey. The PMHNP will provide direct psychiatric services to adolescents in a structured treatment facility. Hours are flexible, with a preference for two days a week. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing mental health monitoring Provide medication evaluations and medication management Collaborate with residential facility leadership, clinical teams, and support staff Utilize trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches when working with youth Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards and regulatory requirements Minimum Qualifications Active Delaware NP licensure (or ability to obtain) Prior experience working with child and adolescent populations strongly preferred Experience in residential, correctional, or behavioral health settings is a plus About The Columbus Organization The Columbus Organization is dedicated to supporting your professional success.
