Logistics Administrative Assistant

Talascend is currently seeking a Logistics Administrative Assistant for a contract opportunity with our client in Rocky Mount, North Carolina .


Overview


This role performs administrative and clerical tasks in support of the factory logistics team, ensuring smooth operations and accurate documentation processing.


Responsibilities

• Perform routine administrative and clerical duties to support the logistics group.
• Maintain and file letters, memoranda, invoices, and other indexed records according to established filing systems.
• Retrieve data and correspondence from files upon request within required timeframes.
• Support factory logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, packaging, inventory picking, kitting, and stocking activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of related administrative or logistics experience.
• Working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a logistics or administrative environment.
• Ability to follow written instructions and established guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.

Shift


There are two shifts available: first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and second shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
